HISTORICAL
Bouquin Dupont Fils champagne was born in 1929, thanks to the acquisition by Paul Emile Dupont of a vineyard on the land of AVIZE. He began to vinify his grapes in 1934.
His daughter Liliane Dupont with her husband Michel Bouquin continued the production of champagne and expanded the business by acquiring
plusieurs parcelles
on the territory of Cramant.
In 1986, Dominique Bouquin Dupont bought other plots on the MESNIL/OGER terroir, in the prestigious
Côtes des Blancs.
ADVICE OF A PROFESSIONAL
To reveal all its aromas, Dominique reveals some tips :
Aperitif :
Undosed Champagne (0 grams of sugar) and Extra Brut (2g/bottle). The ideal is to start tasting these wines at a temperature of 8 degrees, then let the bottle warm up (14°-16°) so that the aromas open up and allow you to discover all their complexities.
From the start of the meal or to accompany
your shellfish, fish and white meats, the old reserve and the Millésimes are ideal.
End of the meal :
or after the coffee, the 2012 Millésime and the Rosé Grand Cru will reveal all their roundness and their flavors.
You want to buy and you need advice : do not hesitate to contact Dominique Bouquin Dupont, who will answer all your questions.
